Speedway News Raffle to Benefit BMS Young Racers November 14, BETHEL, NY – This week, Bethel Motor Speedway announced that they will be raffling off a Legends car to benefit the Bethel Motor Speedway Young Racers program. Raffle tickets will be sold for $100 each, with only 200 tickets being sold. The BMS Young Racers Program was very popular in 2009, with several new young drivers entering the Bandolero class at Bethel. Among the goals of the Young Racers Program are to provide the youth class with the necessary guidance and education to understand their cars and improve their confidence and abilities, while fostering a sense of accomplishment in conjunction with each driver's personal goals. The youngsters are mentored by experienced drivers at the speedway, who work with them in their development. The Legends car being raffled off is a brand new 2010 Legends car. Tickets are available by emailing legendstockny@yahoo.com. They will also be available at Motorsports 2010 to be held January 22-24, 2010 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. Additional dates and locations for ticket sales will be announced as they become available.
